MINUTES OF A VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK BOARD OF TRUSTEE PLANNING SESSION
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 30, 2007
VILLAGE HALL AT THE REGATTA
1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER: 10:05 a.m.
2. ATTENDANCE: Trustee Robinowitz
Trustee Hofstetter
Trustee Ryan
Trustee Murphy
Mayor Savolt
3. The Board discussed the Sheldrake Lofts Project and the happenings of Friday, December 28 (developer submitted check for Recreation Fee after asking Village to postpone requirement for same). The Board unanimously decided to ask Mr. Fusco, Clerk-Treasurer to come into the office on December 31, 2007 to check availability of funds to cover the check since payment was necessary by December 31, 2007.
4. DISCUSSION REGARDING PROJECTS, ISSUES AND OPEN ITEMS:
Priorities were established and members volunteered as listed below:
1. Hire Village Attorney (K. Savolt)
2. Extend Moratorium on buildings with more than six units (T. Murphy)
3. Change FAR (Floor Area Ratio) Code (T. Murphy)
4. Ethics Law (hold for Village Attorney)
5. Mandatory Recycling – Villages Offices and Spaces (T. Ryan to work with Committee for Environment)
6. Flood Mitigation (K. Savolt)
7. Summer Camp (R. Robinowitz)
8. Neighborhood – Washingtonville (K. Savolt)
9. Website (R. Robinowitz)
10. Begin process for hiring new Village Manager (K. Savolt w/start date for new Village Manager after Labor Day)
11. Mamaroneck Avenue Trees and Lighting (K. Savolt and L. Verrastro)
